Forza Motorsport, the highly anticipated racing game, is set to launch on October 10 and promises an expansive experience for players. With over 500 cars, 20 rebuilt tracks, and new career and online racing modes, Forza Motorsport aims to provide a massive game from day one and continue to grow over time.
The developers have designed Forza Motorsport as an evolving racing platform, ensuring that players always have something new to enjoy. Monthly content drops will introduce new cars, tracks, career tours, and online events, keeping the gameplay fresh and exciting. These updates will also include tweaks to gameplay and systems, enhancing the overall experience.
One of the highlights of Forza Motorsport is the addition of new tracks. While the development process for these detailed environments is time-consuming, the team plans to release free tracks on a regular basis. November will see the arrival of Yas Marina, completely rebuilt with the latest track layout. This updated circuit offers improved racing and overtaking opportunities with a more flowing hairpin.
December will bring another track, details of which will be revealed soon. And in Spring 2024, players can look forward to the most accurate Nordschleife ever in Forza Motorsport. Each new track will feature fully dynamic 24-hour time-of-day with weather and track evolution, adding depth and realism to the racing experience.
In addition to tracks, monthly updates will introduce new cars, career tours, online events, and limited-time Rivals. Players can acquire cars through various means, such as in-game credits, rewards for completing tours, or through the Car Pass, which will introduce a new car every week until it is complete.
Live events play a significant role in Forza Motorsport, offering Featured Tours in Career Mode, Spec Series and Open Series in Featured Multiplayer, and Featured Rivals. These events showcase new cars available at a discounted price for a limited time, encouraging players to participate and expand their car collection.
Featured Tours are limited-time career events centered around specific themes. The initial Featured Tour, Track Tour, focuses on different types of track cars each week, with a spotlight car taking the center stage. Players have flexibility in completing these series, with a two-week grace period after the tour ends.
Open Tour, on the other hand, features four PI class series that refresh monthly with new content and themes. The first Open Tour celebrates German manufacturers, and completing all four series unlocks a special reward car. Regardless of performance, players will always progress to the next event or series in Career Mode, emphasizing the freedom to race as they please.
Featured Multiplayer encompasses Spec Series and Open Series. Spec Series events use pre-tuned cars to ensure fair competition, while Open Series allows players to choose their preferred car within the class. These online events provide opportunities for players to meet new friends, level up cars, and improve their skills through competition.
Featured Rivals events challenge players to achieve their best lap times and feature leaderboards for comparison. VIP Rivals events require VIP Membership, offering exclusive challenges and rewards. Additionally, players can set their fastest lap times on leaderboards using custom tuned cars in Time Attack mode.
Forza Motorsport Car Pass, available with select editions of the game, delivers 30 new-to-Motorsport cars weekly. This ongoing addition of cars ensures that players have a wide variety of vehicles to choose from and customize.
With its release on October 10, Forza Motorsport will be available on XBOX Series X|S consoles, Windows 10 and 11 PCs via the Microsoft Store and Steam, as well as Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and Cloud Gaming (Beta). Pre-orders are now open, allowing players to pre-download the game and gain early access. Recommended PC specs and supported racing wheel peripherals have also been provided for interested players.
Forza Motorsport promises an immersive and ever-expanding racing experience, with a steady flow of new challenges and gameplay experiences. Stay tuned to Forza channels for monthly updates and new content, and get ready to hit the starting line on October 10.
