EK, the provider of premium Liquid Cooling solutions, is introducing a new distro plate specifically designed for the recently released Lian Li O11D EVO XL case. This innovative product aims to offer advanced water cooling capabilities with the inclusion of the latest 3rd generation SATA-powered D5 pump, eliminating the need for additional 4-pin Molex cables. The Reflection² series distribution plates adhere to the EK-Matrix7 standard, featuring push-in ports for easier radiator insertion and support for an inverted layout. Furthermore, it can accommodate up to three 420 mm radiators and a vertically-mounted GPU.
The EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO XL D5 PWM D-RGB serves as a custom water cooling reservoir, routing, and pump solution that seamlessly integrates into the front of the case. It boasts five innovative push-in ports with female G1/4″ threaded adapters, allowing users to effortlessly assemble the top and bottom radiator with fittings and tubing and slide it into the distro plate. For compatibility with 420 mm radiators, the Push-In Adapter M7 is required, which can be purchased separately from the EK Shop.
Designed with aesthetics and ease of use in mind, this All-in-One waterway solution includes a pump, reservoir, simple mounting mechanism, and multiple industry-standard G1/4″ threaded inlets and outlets. The placement of these inlets and outlets is strategically aligned with other EK products, minimizing the number of bends required when constructing the loop. With the installed distro plate, the maximum radiator size supported is as follows: Top: EK-Quantum Surface P420 (or X420 with limited configurations), Bottom: EK-Quantum Surface X420, Side: EK-Quantum Surface P420. It’s important to note that the top and bottom radiator positions are not compatible with 360 mm radiators due to the O11D EVO XL’s asymmetric mounting pattern.
The EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO XL D5 PWM D-RGB is engineered to be mounted on the front window of the LIAN LI O11D EVO XL case, fitting perfectly within the chassis. However, the motherboard tray must be moved from its default position to the central position for full Matrix7 compatibility. Additionally, this distribution plate can also be utilized in the inverted layout of the chassis, with reversed radiator compatibility.
To enhance the visual appeal, the distribution plate features an addressable D-RGB LED Strip that runs along its entire length, providing even lighting without any hotspots. The built-in addressable LED Strip can be connected to the motherboard’s 5 V header or a dedicated D-RGB controller. It is also compatible with popular software such as MSI MYSTIC LIGHT SYNC, ASRock POLYCHROME SYNC, ASUS AURA SYNC, and Gigabyte RGB FUSION 2, enabling synchronized light effects.
The water distribution plate comes equipped with a powerful yet silent PWM-controlled D5 pump. The goal was to create a product that offers excellent reliability and outstanding performance with multiple blocks and radiators while minimizing noise. The latest G3 variant of the D5 pump replaces its predecessor and features a SATA power connector, aligning with the industry trend of reducing the use of 4-pin Molex cables.
The EK-Matrix7 standardization simplifies liquid cooling loop assembly by standardizing the product’s dimensions, including port position and spacing. As a result, EK-Quantum Reflection² distro plates seamlessly integrate with Vector² GPU water blocks and active backplates, as well as Quantum Surface radiators. This streamlines the planning process and tube bending, resulting in a hassle-free and visually stunning build.
In terms of technical details, the reservoir dimensions with the attached pump are 230 x 75 x 472 mm, and it features 16 G1/4″ ports. The reservoir volume is approximately 525ml, and the D-RGB LED count is 24. The D-RGB cable length is 500 mm, and the D-RGB connector standard is 3-pin (+5V, Data, Blocked, Ground). The pump motor is an electronically commuted spherical motor with a rated voltage of 12 V DC and a power consumption of 23 W. It offers a maximum pressure head of 3.9 m and a maximum flow rate of 1500L/h. The maximum system temperature supported is 60°C. The materials used include stainless steel, PPS-GF40, EPDM O-Rings, aluminum oxide, and hard coal. The power connector options are SATA and 4-pin PWM FAN connector. The operational regime of the pump is PWM duty cycle: ~20-100%, with a default behavior of running at 100% duty cycle in the absence of a PWM feedback signal.
