Mifcom, a leading technology company, has launched its latest offering, the Mifcom BIG Boss workstation. Priced at 29,000 euros, this ultimate workstation is designed for professional use and combines the power of AMD Threadripper with seven Geforce RTX 4090 GPUs.
Unlike gaming PCs, the Big Boss workstation is specifically tailored for demanding tasks such as deep learning, data mining, and 3D rendering. Mifcom has opted for the RTX 4090 GPUs instead of expensive professional workstation GPUs, as they offer equivalent power when supported by the appropriate software.
The system boasts an impressive 168GB of GDDR6X memory, making it suitable for running advanced generative AI models. Interestingly, the power for each RTX 4090 GPU has been intentionally reduced to 300W, resulting in more economical and quieter operation.
The Big Boss workstation is powered by the AMD Threadripper PRO 5995WX processor, which features 64 Zen3 cores. Although some may question why Mifcom didn’t wait for the Threadripper PRO 7995WX with 96 Zen4 cores, it is clear that by the time that platform launches, compatible water-cooling equipment will be readily available.
Equipped with an ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI II motherboard and 128GB of DDR4-3200 memory, the Big Boss workstation offers a powerful and efficient system. It is powered by two 2000W power supplies to ensure optimal performance.
The Mifcom BIG Boss workstation can now be ordered directly from their website for 28,999 EUR. Please note that it may take 2 to 3 weeks for the system to be prepared.
