After months of speculation, Samsung has finally confirmed the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Ultra. At the recent Unpacked 2025 event, the device was launched in all its glory, boasting the most advanced features ever seen in the Galaxy lineup.
While it shares many characteristics with the more affordable models in the line, the S25 Ultra brings some notable improvements in the camera and design departments. Unlike its predecessors, this new flagship sports a flat display with slightly rounded corners, a departure from the curved screens we’ve grown accustomed to.
Speaking of the display, the S25 Ultra boasts a stunning 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with Quad HD+ resolution and an adaptive Refresh Rate that can go from 1 to a buttery smooth 120 Hz. Under the hood, it packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, a chip specifically optimized for Samsung devices, offering a slight performance boost compared to the standard market model.
In terms of memory, you can expect at least 12 GB of RAM, though certain markets will have access to a variant with a whopping 16 GB. Storage options range from 256 GB, 512 GB, all the way up to a massive 1 TB of internal storage.
Now, let’s talk about the camera system. The S25 Ultra features a 200 MP primary sensor, accompanied by a 50 MP ultrawide lens, a 50 MP telephoto camera, and a second 10 MP telephoto lens capable of 5x and 3x zoom, respectively. While the camera setup may seem similar to its predecessor, we can surely expect some software enhancements to capture even more stunning content.
Powering this beast is a hefty 5000 mAh battery, which supports both wireless charging and blazing-fast 45W wired charging. Out of the box, the S25 Ultra runs on Samsung’s One UI 7, based on the latest Android 15 from Google.
As with the rest of the Galaxy lineup, we can anticipate a strong focus on AI and the capabilities of Galaxy AI. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and in-depth coverage of the S25 Ultra’s standout features. Trust us, you won’t want to miss it!
