Micron Technology, Inc. has made some exciting announcements at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this week. The company has expanded its Crucial consumer memory and storage portfolio, introducing the high-speed Crucial P510 SSD and offering more options for its existing DRAM portfolio. These expansions aim to provide consumers with a broader range of choices and increased flexibility.

The Crucial P510 SSD is a game-changer, offering read and write speeds of up to 11,000/9,550 megabytes per second (MB/s). This means blazing fast Gen5 performance is now available to the masses. Whether you’re a casual gamer, a creative professional, a student, or a hardcore enthusiast, this SSD will enhance your productivity and provide a more immersive experience.

Dinesh Bahal, the corporate vice president and general manager of Micron’s Commercial Products Group, expressed his excitement about the new memory and storage products. He stated, “With the exciting memory and storage products we’re debuting today, Crucial’s portfolio is now broader and stronger than ever before. These updates illustrate our commitment to driving innovation, performance, and value for every consumer.”

At CES, Micron is showcasing the Crucial P510 SSD and a range of demos that highlight its versatility. These demos feature builds for different price points and computing use cases, including high-end performance gaming, professional photography, and mainstream home, office, and student use. The demos also showcase collaborations with Crucial’s ecosystem and systems integration partners, such as ASRock, Beelink, be quiet!, Falcon Northwest, Gigabyte, Playstation, Mechrevo, ThundeRobot, and TRYX. These partners have integrated Crucial solutions into their devices, including gaming PCs, motherboards, CPUs, and consoles.

The new SSD products from Crucial not only provide fast and reliable storage but also consume 25% less power than previous Gen5 SSDs. This means longer battery life for both Laptops and desktops. The P510 SSD is available in 1 terabyte (TB) and 2TB capacity options, with an integrated heatsink. It also features a single-sided design, making it easy to install in newer Gen5 enabled laptops.

In addition to the SSD expansions, Crucial is also expanding its gaming portfolio and fueling AI PCs with higher density memory modules. Here are the updates:

– Crucial DDR5 Pro Overclocking (OC) Gaming Memory: Crucial now offers a new 32GB density option for its Crucial DDR5 Pro OC Gaming Memory. This memory provides faster and smoother gameplay, multitasking, and eliminates bottlenecks, slow frame rates, and load times.
– Crucial DDR5 Pro Plug-and-Play Memory: This memory is perfect for gamers, creatives, and professionals who need DDR5 performance right out of the box. It improves system performance without the need for overclocking, Latency tuning, die chasing, or LEDs. Crucial now offers a 64GB density option with a speed of 5,600 MT/s, making it the world’s first DDR5 64GB module with a heat spreader. Users can also purchase a 128GB kit with two 64GB modules for greater density.
– Crucial DDR5 CUDIMM/CSODIMM: Crucial now offers CUDIMM solutions in 32 and 64GB densities and CSODIMM solutions in 24 and 32GB densities at 6400 MT/s. These additions make Crucial the market leader in JEDEC-compliant CUDIMM and CSODIMMs, providing wider capacity options for data-intensive AI PCs.
– Crucial DDR5 UDIMM/SODIMM: Crucial’s Classic DDR5 Memory is now available in a 64GB density at the 5600 MT/s speed grade. This memory provides blazing speed and massive bandwidth, allowing users to multitask better, load, analyze, edit, and render faster, and game with higher frame rates.
– MRDIMM: Micron’s MRDIMM solutions are now available through the channel to consumers. These solutions deliver the bandwidth and capacity needed for AI inference and high-performance computing applications on next-generation server platforms.

Ecosystem partners, such as Falcon Northwest and MECHREVO, have praised Crucial’s memory and storage solutions for their speeds, reliability, and performance. These partners rely on Crucial’s products to build powerful gaming PCs and high-end notebooks.
