Google's Android 15 update caused issues for Instagram users, but the app has now released an update to fix the problem.
- Early access to new features
- Improved content capture capabilities
- Bug fixes and updates available through Play Store
Yesterday, Google began rolling out Android 15 to Pixel devices, making them the first to receive the stable system update. However, this update also brought some headaches for Instagram users.
One of the new features in Android 15 was the ability to use certain camera functions, such as Night Mode, directly within Instagram to enhance content capture. However, this function seems to have caused several issues for app users.
Many users report that after updating their devices to Android 15, they were no longer able to access Instagram properly, especially when trying to upload new content directly through the app. Whenever they attempted to publish content, whether in Stories or regular posts, the app simply crashed.
Fortunately, Instagram seems to have addressed the problem, as the update is now available on the Play Store. Users just need to ensure that their Instagram apps are updated to version 353.1.0.47.90 or newer.
It’s worth noting that it may take a few hours for the update to reach all Google accounts via the Play Store, so some patience may be required to ensure a smooth functioning platform.
