Google is testing a new feature for the Play Store that allows users to install apps without scrolling back up to the top of the page.
- Improved user experience
- Easier and quicker app installation
- Allows for seamless browsing and installation process
Google has been making some improvements to the Play Store, focusing on enhancing the user experience. However, there are still some areas that could use further enhancements, and it seems that some of these improvements are currently being tested.
According to recent rumors, Google is testing a small yet significant change for the Play Store that will make it easier for users to download content. Currently, when browsing an app page on the Play Store and scrolling down to read the description, the install buttons remain at the top of the page. This requires users to scroll back up if they want to install or open the app.
However, with the recent change being tested, a small bar now stays “fixed” at the top of the screen, allowing users to quickly perform these actions. This means that users can read the app description and view images without having to scroll back up to install the app.
While this may seem like a minor alteration to the page structure in the Play Store, it can certainly improve the user experience when it comes to installing new apps and evaluating their content.
This new feature is currently being tested and may take a few more days to roll out to all users.
