Acer has just launched its latest lineup of projectors, the Vero series, which aims to provide top-notch home entertainment experiences while prioritizing sustainability. The new models, equipped with 4K UHD resolution and HDR10 compatibility, offer stunning visuals and enhanced brightness with their laser/LED hybrid light source that boasts 4000 ANSI lumens.
One standout feature of the Acer Vero HL6810ATV is its Acer-exclusive Android TV embedded dongle design, which grants users easy access to Smart Home features right at their fingertips. This not only simplifies installations but also eliminates the need for unnecessary cables, resulting in a cleaner setup. With the embedded Android TV dongle, users can enjoy direct access to popular streaming applications like Netflix and YouTube without the hassle of connecting external devices. Voice-activated prompts can be used to control the smart projector, either with a dedicated remote or a smartphone.
The Vero HL6810 and HL6810ATV models offer a cinematic viewing and gaming experience with their 4K Ultra HD resolution and 4,000 ANSI lumens. Whether you’re streaming or gaming on the big screen, crystal-clear images and vibrant colors come to life, even in well-lit environments. These projectors also boast a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and can reach 105% of the Rec. 709 color gamut, ensuring vivid details even in the darkest of scenes. Additionally, they are HDR10/HLG compatible, providing a wider spectrum of color and brightness accuracy through four available modes to cater to different types of content. Acer has even included a Football mode specifically tailored for projecting scenes onto larger surfaces, making them more realistic and immersive.
In terms of flexibility, the Vero projectors offer 1.3x zoom capability and HV keystone and 4 corner correction technology, allowing for easy adjustment and projection in various viewing spaces. The devices are also IP5X-rated for protection against potential damage from external factors. Acer’s BlueLight Shield technology helps reduce the negative effects of blue light exposure on viewers’ eyes.
Acer has made sure to prioritize sustainability with its Vero projectors. The third generation of the Acer Vero HL68 Series utilizes highly-efficient and high-performance laser/LED hybrid optical engines, resulting in up to 48% power savings compared to lamp-based projectors. This not only minimizes the environmental impact but also extends the lifespan of the devices, with the light source boasting up to 30,000 hours of usage. Power-saving mode and instant-on-off features further contribute to energy efficiency. Additionally, the projectors are made with 100% mercury-free materials and incorporate post-consumer recycled plastic in their chassis, as well as recycled paper in their packaging, reducing their carbon footprint.
The Acer Vero HL6810ATV will be available in EMEA in June, starting at EUR 1,699, while the Acer Vero HL6810 will be available in EMEA in August, starting at EUR 1,599. Exact specifications, prices, and availability may vary by region.
