Sennheiser, a brand in the audio industry, has just launched their latest addition to their portable portfolio: the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds. These earbuds are packed with Sennheiser’s signature acoustics, dynamic wireless capabilities, and a brand-new ergonomic design, making them the perfect choice for those living an on-the-go, connected lifestyle.
According to Frank Foppe, Sennheiser Product Manager, ACCENTUM True Wireless builds on the reputation of their over-ear counterparts for delivering incredible sound, useful features, and unbeatable value. The company has managed to pack all these qualities into a reimagined, award-winning design that brings the magic of “the Sennheiser sound” to anyone looking for an untethered upgrade.
When it comes to sound quality, the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds truly shine. They feature Sennheiser’s proprietary 7 mm dynamic True Response Transducers that deliver powerful bass, natural mids, and crisp treble. These drivers are manufactured at Sennheiser’s Tullamore factory, ensuring the same level of quality found in other popular Sennheiser headphones like the ACCENTUM, MOMENTUM, and audiophile models.
But it’s not just about sound quality; the comfort and fit of earbuds are equally important. Sennheiser collaborated with Sonova, a leading hearing aid manufacturer, to analyze thousands of ear models and create a unique ergonomic design that offers stability, comfort, and sophistication. The result is an innovative contour that suits a wide range of wearers. In fact, the earbuds have already won the prestigious Red Dot Design award. To further enhance the fit, four sizes of ear tips are included to ensure a great seal for impactful low-frequency response and effective hybrid noise cancellation.
Speaking of noise cancellation, the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds feature Hybrid ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and Transparency modes. The ANC technology, combined with a discreet beamforming mic array, reduces low-frequency distractions to a whisper, making it easy to block out airplane cabin noise, humming appliances, traffic, and the noise of busy coffee shops. The Transparency mode allows wearers to listen to their surroundings when needed, simply by using tap gestures or the Sennheiser Smart Control app. The app also offers additional customization options, including a 5-band equalizer and Sound Check, a guided preset creator that can be uploaded to the cloud and accessed on all iOS or Android devices.
When it comes to connectivity, the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds are equipped with Bluetooth 5.3, which goes beyond just managing media and calls. These earbuds are Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast capable, allowing for advanced connectivity to shared audio streams at Auracast-enabled locations like museums, cafes, and airports in the near future. In addition to supporting SBC and AAC codecs, the earbuds also utilize aptX and LC3 for maintaining reliable audio quality and extended battery life. With up to 8 hours of playback per charge and a total of 28 hours with the case, users can enjoy their music without worrying about running out of battery.
Charging the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds is a breeze. The compact case supports both USB-C and Qi wireless charging, providing versatility for users. The case can hold over 2 additional charges and supports quick charging over USB, giving users up to 1 hour of playback in just 10 minutes. The package also includes a USB-A to type C cable for convenient setup.
ACCENTUM True Wireless is available for pre-order starting today and will officially launch on May 21. The earbuds come in black or white color options and will be available from select retailers and the official Sennheiser website at a price of $199.99 USD / $279.95 CAD. With their impressive sound quality, comfortable fit, and advanced features, the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds are a compelling option for anyone seeking a premium audio experience on the go.
