Silicon Motion Technology Corporation, a player in the NAND flash controller market, has launched its new FerriSSD NVMe PCIe Gen 4 x4 BGA SSD. The FerriSSD BGA SSD boasts PCIe Gen 4 x4 support and utilizes high-density 3D NAND technology, all packed within a compact 16 mm x 20 mm BGA chip-scale package.
