Bungie, the game developer behind Destiny 2, has just dropped some exciting news for all Guardians out there. In a surprising collaboration, Bungie has joined forces with EA and BioWare to bring a bit of Mass Effect magic into the Destiny universe. Starting February 13, 2024, players will have the opportunity to deck out their characters with new cosmetics and in-game items inspired by the iconic crew of the Normandy.

The star of the show is the Normandy Crew Bundle, which will be available for purchase at the Eververse store in-game. This bundle includes three sets of armor, each tailored to a specific Guardian class. Titans can channel their inner Commander Shepard with the N7 armor set, while Hunters can don the sleek and deadly Vakarian set inspired by Garrus. Warlocks, on the other hand, can embrace their inner Shadow Broker with the elegant Liara-inspired armor set.

But wait, there’s more! In celebration of this exciting collaboration, Bungie is offering all players the Alliance Requisitions Bundle completely free of charge. This bundle includes the Enhanced Defense Ghost Shell, Alliance Scout Frigate ship, and Alliance Drop Ship Sparrow. It’s a generous gesture that allows every Guardian to feel a part of this special partnership.

If that wasn’t enough, Bungie has also launched a new set of weekly quests called Riven’s Wishes. From January 30 to March 12, Guardians will have the chance to complete these quests and earn tokens that can be exchanged for a variety of rewards. Whether you’re after powerful Last Wish RAID weapons, exotic gear from the Lightfall year, or event mementos and crafting materials, there’s something for everyone.

And let’s not forget about the upcoming Moments of Triumph event, running from January 30 to June 3. This event serves as a celebration of the past year in Destiny 2 and offers Guardians the chance to conquer a range of Triumphs. By completing the MMXXIII Seal, players can even purchase a special Moments of Triumph shirt from the Bungie Store via Bungie Rewards. Talk about a stylish way to commemorate your achievements!

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Bungie has teased some future events to look forward to. In March, Guardians can gear up for the annual Guardian Games celebration, while in April, all players can expect the release of Destiny 2: Into the Light, a two-month content update that promises to bring fresh experiences and challenges.

And finally, mark your calendars for June 4, 2024, as Destiny 2: The Final Shape takes center stage. This highly anticipated expansion will see Guardians embarking on an epic quest to delve into The Pale Heart of the Traveler, confront the enigmatic Witness, and rally their allies to bring an end to the intense War of Light and Darkness that has spanned a decade.

It’s safe to say that Bungie is pulling out all the stops to keep Guardians engaged and entertained. With exciting collaborations, new quests, and a roadmap filled with thrilling events, Destiny 2 players have a lot to look forward to in the coming months. So gear up, Guardian, and get ready for an unforgettable journey into the world of Destiny 2.

Technology Explained

RAID: RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) is a technology used in the computer industry to increase the performance, reliability, and storage capacity of computer systems. It works by combining multiple hard drives into a single logical unit, allowing them to be accessed as if they were a single drive. This allows for faster data access, as multiple drives can be accessed simultaneously, and for increased reliability, as data can be stored redundantly across multiple drives. RAID is commonly used in servers, workstations, and other high-performance computing systems, as well as in consumer-level storage solutions such as NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices.
