Brother International Corporation has launched its latest inkjet printer, the MFC-J1800DW Print & Cut All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer. This new model marks Brother’s foray into automatic paper cutting capabilities, making it the brand’s first printer to offer this feature. The printer’s Print & Cut function utilizes Brother Blade Sensor Technology (BST), which ensures precise cutting of full letter pages in half.
The MFC-J1800DW Print & Cut is designed to cater to a wide range of users, including home users, small businesses, and craft enthusiasts. With its comprehensive print, copy, scan, and fax capabilities, this all-in-one printer offers added convenience with its built-in paper cutter. Users can now effortlessly create perfectly sized cards, invitations, restaurant menus, shipping labels, and more.
Alejandra Bello, Product Marketing Manager at Brother International Corporation, emphasized the brand’s commitment to meeting evolving consumer needs. “By adding a revolutionary built-in paper cutter to an all-in-one color inkjet printer, we’re introducing customers to a new way of printing and cutting,” Bello stated.
The Print & Cut model is a versatile printing solution that caters to consumers seeking a compact all-in-one printer for their daily needs. It enhances efficiency and productivity for printing projects, offering features such as 5-in-1 Color Inkjet Technology. This technology ensures high-quality prints, copies, scans, and faxes, with print speeds of up to 17ppm BK and 16.5 ppm CL. Automatic duplex printing, a 150-sheet paper tray capacity, and a 20-page capacity automatic document feeder further enhance its capabilities.
One of the standout features of the MFC-J1800DW Print & Cut is its automatic paper cutter. Powered by Brother Blade Sensor Technology, this built-in cutter conveniently cuts letter-sized paper (8.5″x11″) into half letter prints (8.5″x 5.5″). This not only saves time but also reduces waste, making it an eco-friendly choice.
Connectivity options abound with the Print & Cut model. The Brother Mobile App Connect allows users to access printing, copying, scanning, and cutting functions from almost anywhere using their mobile devices. The app also includes the Brother Intelligent Page Gauge, which enables users to track ink usage and remaining levels. Additionally, users can print or scan from various cloud services, including Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. Local connection options include built-in wireless Wi-Fi Direct or a direct USB connection to a single computer.
To ensure the best performance and print quality, Brother recommends using their Genuine Ink and Supplies. Users can also enroll in the Refresh EZ Print Subscription service, which offers ink refills before running out, conveniently shipped to their doorstep.
The MFC-J1800DW Print & Cut is now available for purchase at a price of $199.99. Interested customers can find it online or at select retailers nationwide. Brother International Corporation continues to deliver reliable solutions with the latest technology and innovative features, catering to the evolving needs of consumers.
