HARMAN Luxury Audio Group has introduced the Arcam Radia Series, a collection of high-quality audio products that includes integrated amplifiers, a CD player, and a streamer. The Radia Series sets new standards for design and sound quality, combining bold aesthetics with state-of-the-art audio technology. This product family is the first to be designed under ARCAM’s new industrial design and marketing refresh.
The Radia Series features Class AB and G integrated amplifiers, as well as a matching streamer and CD player. These products have been meticulously crafted with a symmetrical design that complements their aluminum shells. The front fascias are seamless, the knobs have been redesigned, and gentle lighting effects add to the overall aesthetic. The products also feature a matte black surface with Radia yellow highlights, hidden ventilation cutouts, and a connector cowl at the rear to hide unsightly connector housings. The knobs have been elegantly curved, finished in satin black, and textured to mask fingerprints.
The new Radia amplifiers are equipped with Bluetooth aptX Adaptive receivers, internal antennas, digital inputs, and ARCAM’s signature MM phono stage. The A5 and A15 amplifiers offer 2x50W and 2x100W respectively, with the A15 featuring new digital circuitry based on the ESS ES9018 DAC. The A25 amplifier steps up to a Class G amplifier and the ESS ES9280AQ DAC, along with USB-C inputs, LED illuminated highlights, and a seamless OLED display on the front panel.
The ST5 music streamer supports a wide range of music services, including Amazon Music Unlimited, Qobuz, Internet radio, podcasts, Tidal Connect, and Spotify Connect. It also offers support for MQA, Google Chromecast, Apple Airplay2, and Roon. The CD5 CD player supports CD, CD-R, and CD-RW playback, as well as playback from USB mass storage. Both the ST5 and CD5 feature an ESS ES9018 DAC and boast 24-bit/192-kHz resolution.
The ARCAM Radia Series was officially launched at an event in London and will be available at retailers in the fourth quarter of 2023. For more information, visit www.arcam.co.uk.
