The Gmail app for Android has been updated to allow for easier management of CC and BCC fields, making it simpler to move emails between different fields and improving the overall user experience.
- Allows for faster and easier management of CC and BCC fields
- Can quickly move emails between different fields
- Consistent across all platforms (web, iOS, and Android)
The Gmail app for Android has just received a small, yet important update that will make managing contacts and sending messages much simpler. This update allows for faster and easier management of the CC and BCC fields, allowing users to easily move emails between different fields.
Before this update, users had to manually enter the desired email addresses into the fields, which could lead to errors. However, with the recent update, emails can now be quickly moved between these fields. All you have to do is press and hold the email you want to move, and then drag it to the desired field – whether it’s “To,” CC, or BCC. This makes it much easier to manage how you want each email to be sent and to which contacts.
It’s worth noting that this feature was already available on the web version and even the iOS app, but it was missing from the Android version. However, Google has finally brought this functionality to Android, making it consistent across all platforms.
Currently, this feature is only available for Google Workspace accounts, but it is expected to roll out to personal accounts in the future. Google has mentioned that it may take up to 15 days for the update to reach all accounts.
This is just one of the many updates that Google has been providing to its email platform, with a focus on improving the user experience, especially for Google Workspace accounts. It’s great to see Google continuously working to enhance the Gmail app and make it more user-friendly.
