Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its new Galaxy S25, and it looks like this device is going to bring some serious hardware improvements to the table. A recent benchmark test on the Geekbench 6 app has given us a sneak peek into the device and its performance. The device in question is identified as the Galaxy S25 Plus, and it has scored one of the highest ratings we’ve seen so far for devices with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

This Galaxy S25 Plus is listed with a whopping 12GB of RAM and will be running on Android 15. The Snapdragon 8 Elite boasts a final speed of 4.47 GHz, slightly higher than the standard speed. This suggests that Samsung may have made some optimizations in this area.

In terms of performance, the device scored a total of 3,160 points in single-core and 9,941 points in multi-core tests. These are some of the highest scores achieved by a model with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It’s worth noting that this device isn’t specifically designed for gaming, so achieving these scores with a standard cooling system is pretty impressive.

However, it’s still unclear whether Samsung will stick to using just one processor model, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, for the Galaxy S25 lineup, or if they will release different versions with Exynos processors in certain markets. Only time will tell.

It’s exciting to see Samsung pushing the boundaries with the Galaxy S25. With these hardware improvements, users can expect a significant boost in performance, whether they’re browsing the web, multitasking, or running demanding apps. The combination of the Snapdragon 8 Elite and ample RAM will ensure smooth and seamless user experiences.

As a tech enthusiast, I can’t help but wonder what other surprises Samsung has in store for us with the Galaxy S25. Will it feature any camera technology? Will it introduce new display innovations? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: Samsung is determined to stay at the forefront of the smartphone market, and the Galaxy S25 is shaping up to be another impressive addition to their lineup.
