Nvidia Geforce Now adds multiple new titles to its gaming library

November 17, 2024 by our News Team

nVidia is expanding its library of games available on the Geforce Now platform, and they’ve just added some exciting new titles. In their latest update, the company confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Farming Simulator 25 are now available to play. And that’s not all – Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy have also joined the lineup, accessible to all PC Game Pass subscribers. It’s worth noting that players need to have these games in their libraries, whether on Steam, Epic Games, or Game Pass, in order to play them on Nvidia’s cloud platform.

These new additions join the existing list of games already available on the platform. However, Nvidia recently made some changes to its cloud gaming service, including implementing a limit on playtime, even for paying users. Now, users are restricted to a maximum of 100 hours of gameplay per month, with the option to purchase additional hours if needed.

This move has received some criticism from the gaming community, as it could potentially increase the costs of using GeForce Now. However, Nvidia assures us that this measure will only affect a small percentage of players – less than 5% of those currently on the platform.

It’s interesting to see how cloud gaming services are evolving and adapting to meet the demands of both players and publishers. With the growing popularity of platforms like GeForce Now, it’s clear that there is a demand for convenient and accessible gaming experiences. But at what cost? Will these limitations on playtime deter gamers, or will they be willing to pay extra for extended hours?

As a gamer myself, I can understand the frustration of having your playtime restricted. There’s nothing worse than being in the middle of an intense gaming session and suddenly being cut off. However, I also recognize the need for these services to find a balance between affordability and sustainability. After all, providing high-quality gaming experiences requires significant resources.

Ultimately, it will be up to the players to decide whether these changes are a dealbreaker or a minor inconvenience. For now, Nvidia continues to expand its game library, giving gamers more options to choose from. And with the addition of popular titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Farming Simulator 25, there’s no doubt that GeForce Now is becoming an even more enticing platform for gamers.
