Honor has just confirmed the arrival of its new version of the MagicOS 9.0 system, based on the latest Android 15. This new system update from Honor incorporates all the latest features of Android 15, along with improvements made within the MagicOS ecosystem. The focus of this update is on AI-driven enhancements that aim to simplify and expedite daily tasks for users.
One of the notable additions is the introduction of a new virtual assistant called yoyo, which aims to provide an alternative to Gemini. Additionally, the system includes an intelligent feature capable of identifying suspicious calls and messages related to scams, alerting the user. When a suspicious message is received, Honor’s AI can analyze its content to prevent access to compromised or phishing websites.
The update is set to roll out gradually to various Honor devices over the coming months, starting with the HONOR Magic V3. Initially, the update will be available exclusively in China, but it is expected to eventually reach a global audience.
