Razer, the lifestyle brand for gamers, has launched its latest innovation in esports engineering – the Razer Viper V3 Pro. Developed in collaboration with top esports professionals, including zekken, the Champion and MVP of the recent Valorant Champions Tour Masters Madrid, this mouse has been rigorously tested in the most demanding competitive environments.
According to Zachary “zekken” Patrone, a professional VALORANT player for Sentinels, the Viper V3 Pro has transformed his gameplay. Its lightweight design gives him an unfair advantage, making it a game-changer for esports pros.
The Viper V3 Pro has been redesigned from the ground up to prioritize an ultra-lightweight build and exceptional performance. It is available in Black and White editions, seamlessly blending into any competitive setup.
At the heart of the Viper V3 Pro is the Razer Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2, which delivers unrivaled precision with 99.8% resolution accuracy. Gamers can fine-tune control with 1-DPI incremental adjustments and a DPI sensitivity matcher to match their preferred sensitivity from other mice they may have used before.
The mouse also features the Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle, combining Razer’s flagship technologies – Razer HyperSpeed Wireless and Razer HyperPolling Technology. This ensures a true 8000 Hz wireless Polling Rate, providing ultra-low-Latency responsiveness and flawless performance. Every movement and click will be perfectly synchronized with on-screen actions, even in the most demanding tournament environments.
Weighing just 54g, the Viper V3 Pro underwent a comprehensive redesign based on feedback from professional players. It has been extensively tested by over 45 pro players across 5 major tournaments since October 2023, ensuring its readiness for the most challenging competitive environments. Notable enhancements include larger mouse feet, a smooth touch finish, a strategically placed DPI button on the underside, and gap-separated side buttons to prevent misclicks and enhance gameplay.
The Viper V3 Pro sets a new industry benchmark with its true 8000 Hz wireless polling rate and the lowest wireless click latency at 0.461ms. It also features an “auto-change polling rate” feature that adjusts the polling rate during gameplay to minimize battery life impact without compromising the gaming experience. The mouse offers up to 95 hours of uninterrupted play. Additionally, the Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3 provide a durable 90 million click lifecycle, ensuring speed and eliminating double-click issues and debounce delay.
In terms of sustainability, the Razer Viper V3 Pro is the first core PC peripheral in Razer’s portfolio to incorporate post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR). The top shell of the mouse is made up of 85% PCR, reducing its environmental impact without compromising on weight or durability. Razer is also committed to minimizing its environmental footprint by eliminating plastics from packaging, optimizing packaging size with minimalistic designs, and using FSC-certified paper with soy ink.
The Razer Viper V3 Pro is available in Black or White editions for $159.99 USD / €179.99 MSRP on Razer.com, RazerStores, and Authorized Resellers starting from April 23, 2024. For more information, visit Razer.com.

Technology Explained
DPI: DPI (Dots Per Inch) is a measure of the resolution of an image or display. It is used to measure the sharpness of an image or display, and is commonly used in the computer industry. DPI is used to measure the resolution of a computer monitor, printer, or scanner. It is also used to measure the resolution of digital images, such as those used in web design. Higher DPI values indicate higher resolution, which means sharper images and better quality. DPI is also used to measure the accuracy of a mouse or other pointing device. Higher DPI values indicate higher accuracy, which is important for gaming and other precision tasks.

Latency: Technology latency is the time it takes for a computer system to respond to a request. It is an important factor in the performance of computer systems, as it affects the speed and efficiency of data processing. In the computer industry, latency is a major factor in the performance of computer networks, storage systems, and other computer systems. Low latency is essential for applications that require fast response times, such as online gaming, streaming media, and real-time data processing. High latency can cause delays in data processing, resulting in slow response times and poor performance. To reduce latency, computer systems use various techniques such as caching, load balancing, and parallel processing. By reducing latency, computer systems can provide faster response times and improved performance.

Polling Rate: Polling rate is an important technology in the computer industry that is used to measure the speed at which the computer receives data from an input device such as a mouse or joystick. It is measured in Hzcycles per second, and indicates how often a device is checked for input by the computer. With a higher polling rate, input from a device such as a mouse is registered more frequently, resulting in improved accuracy and response time. This technology is essential for gaming and graphic applications that require frequent and accurate inputs or commands. A higher polling rate is not only beneficial to the user experience but is also useful in production environments with more complex tasks.
