- The compact 60 percent form factor allows for optimal positioning and maximum performance in pro-level FPS competition.
- KEYCONTROL technology provides advanced customization capabilities, allowing players to assign up to 15 functions per key.
- Equipped with LIGHTSPEED wireless technology, the keyboard offers precise and reliable performance even in challenging environments.
Logitech G, the gaming technology and gear brand of Logitech, has launched its latest innovation for pro-gamers: the Logitech G PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Keyboard. This compact, professional-grade keyboard is designed to meet the evolving needs of pro esports athletes by freeing up valuable space.
The 60 percent keyboard form factor has gained popularity among professional gamers due to its ability to accommodate dynamic mouse movements required for pro-level FPS competition. The smaller size of the keyboard allows for optimal positioning, ensuring maximum performance. Additionally, its compact design makes it easier for players to transport to and from tournaments.
However, one drawback of smaller keyboards is the potential lack of critical keys that some pro players rely on. Logitech G addresses this issue with the introduction of KEYCONTROL, an innovative technology that provides gamers with customization capabilities beyond what a standard keyboard offers.
Brent Barry, Head of Esports and PRO Series at Logitech G, highlighted the importance of player collaboration in the design process: “Through our unique collaboration with players, we gathered important insights that played a key role in our design of the PRO X 60 and highlighted the need for KEYCONTROL. This new capability has everything a Pro player could want: a compact, portable form factor, combined with advanced new technologies all designed to give them the equipment and performance they need to win.”
KEYCONTROL expands the keyboard’s capabilities beyond those of a standard full-sized keyboard. Enabled through GHUB, a user-friendly tool, KEYCONTROL allows players to assign up to 15 functions per key, tailoring their keyboard to their individual style. When combined with G-SHIFT, an advanced feature that can be assigned to almost any button, players can activate a new layer of keys and gain quick access to essential commands right under their left hand and WASD keys.
Emma “Emy” Choe from FlyQuest RED expressed her excitement about the PRO X 60 with KEYCONTROL: “Now that I have the PRO X 60 with KEYCONTROL, I have more room for flick shots, all while being able to tailor my layout so I don’t miss any keys. I can’t wait to use this in competition.”
In addition to its customization capabilities, the PRO X 60 features Logitech G’s trusted LIGHTSPEED wireless technology. Designed to be as fast as wired connections, LIGHTSPEED wireless ensures precise and reliable performance even in challenging environments. Logitech rigorously tests LIGHTSPEED in an anechoic chamber that generates radio frequency interference equivalent to that of a tournament setting, guaranteeing flawless functionality.
The PRO X 60 is equipped with GX Optical switches, available in both tactile and linear configurations. These switches offer faster actuation than standard mechanical switches, as they operate through the power of light, eliminating the debounce required by mechanical switches. The switches are also factory-lubricated to provide a satisfying gaming and typing experience.
Additional features of the PRO X 60 include dual-shot PBT keycaps, LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting, a game mode switch, volume roller and media controls, Bluetooth connectivity, a 2:1 LIGHTSPEED Adapter, and a semi-hard carrying case.
The PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Keyboard is available for pre-order in Black, White, and Pink on the Logitech G website for $179 US and €229. It will be released in late April and will be available from major participating retailers. For more information, visit LogitechG.com.

Technology Explained
PBT: Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) is a thermoplastic engineering polymer used in the computer industry for a variety of applications. It is a strong, stiff, and heat-resistant material that is used to make connectors, housings, and other components for computers. PBT is also used to make printed circuit boards, as it is resistant to corrosion and has excellent electrical insulation properties. It is also used to make cables and other wiring components, as it is resistant to abrasion and has a low coefficient of friction. PBT is also used in the manufacture of computer cases, as it is lightweight and can be easily molded into various shapes. Additionally, PBT is used in the manufacture of computer keyboards, as it is resistant to wear and tear and can be easily cleaned.
