Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. has launched its latest innovation in mobile platforms, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. This new platform brings on-device generative AI capabilities to the Snapdragon 7 series, offering a wide range of AI models including large language models like Baichuan-7B, Llama 2, and Gemini Nano.
One of the standout features of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is its enhanced entertainment capabilities. It introduces select Snapdragon Elite Gaming features to the 7-series, such as the Game Post Processing Accelerator and Adreno Frame Motion Engine 2. These features enhance game effects and upscale gaming content for desktop-level visuals, promising an immersive gaming experience.
Additionally, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 boasts top-notch photography features with Qualcomm’s industry-leading 18-bit cognitive ISP. This ensures exceptional image quality and advanced photography capabilities.
Chris Patrick, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Handsets at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., expressed excitement about the expansion of the 7-series.
