HP Inc. has just launched its largest portfolio of AI PCs, aimed at enhancing productivity, creativity, and user experiences in hybrid work settings. With the ongoing challenges of the hybrid work landscape, HP’s latest products are designed to address issues such as disconnection and digital fatigue. According to HP’s 2023 Work Relationship Index, only 27% of knowledge workers have a healthy relationship with work, and 83% believe it’s time to redefine our relationships with work. HP recognizes that AI can open up new opportunities for employees to enjoy their work and make their jobs easier, but they need the right tools and technology to succeed.
Alex Cho, President of Personal Systems at HP Inc., stated, “At HP, our mission is to empower companies to capitalize on the power of AI, sparking ambitious and meaningful progress in every organization. We are proud to represent the industry’s broadest portfolio of AI PCs. By harnessing AI as a personal tool, we are creating more personalized and meaningful work experiences, revolutionizing the way we interact with technology and each other in the workplace.”
The latest generation of AI HP Elite and Pro PCs, along with Z by HP mobile workstations, are designed to cater to the needs of leaders, knowledge workers, and creators. These devices feature Copilot in Windows and Windows 11 Pro, providing high-performance computing solutions for demanding workflows. Powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 and 7 processors or next-generation AMD Ryzen PRO processors with dedicated NPUs, these PCs offer personalized performance for AI tasks. HP Smart Sense ensures the best balance of performance and power by automatically adjusting to users’ PC usage behavior. Additionally, features such as Poly Studio audio and Dynamic Voice Leveling, AI Noise Reduction, and automatic framing enhance on-camera interaction and collaboration.
HP now boasts the largest portfolio of Intel and AMD-based AI PCs in the industry, showcasing their commitment to innovation and performance. The lineup includes various models such as the HP Elite 1000 Series G11 Notebook PCs, designed for leaders and workers on the go, offering up to 21 hours of battery life and improved graphics performance. The HP EliteBook and ProBook series cater to enterprise knowledge workers, while the HP ProBook series is purpose-built for hybrid workers. The HP Elite Small Form Factor 805 G9 Desktop PC is engineered for desktop workers looking to boost productivity, offering enhanced connectivity and optional integrated NPU.
In addition to AI PCs, HP also introduced the newest generation of AI HP ZBook mobile workstations. These workstations are designed to handle the challenges of mobile work while providing the necessary collaboration tools for executing large, complex projects from anywhere. With a range of CPUs including Intel Core Ultra 5, 7, and 9 processors or next-generation AMD Ryzen PRO processors with dedicated NPUs, the ZBook series unlocks new levels of productivity and creativity through AI. These workstations ensure reliability, security, and mobility for creative professionals.
HP is also focusing on security solutions to protect sensitive data. Their upgraded Endpoint Security Controller (ESC) chip, featured in the new business PCs, helps protect firmware against quantum computer hacks. Isolated from the processor and OS, the ESC provides a hardware platform that reduces the risk of data breaches and improves productivity by preventing downtime. HP Wolf Security for Business and HP Cloud Endpoint Manager SaaS further enhance security measures.
To accelerate data science capabilities, HP offers the HP AI Creation Center, which combines advanced workstations with solutions like the Z by HP AI Studio. These solutions, developed in collaboration with nVidia, enable companies to scale compute and AI resources from on-premise infrastructure to the cloud. By integrating NVIDIA’s data and pre-trained models into HP’s AI Studio, users gain access to curated models and data within a centralized interface, incorporating the power of NVIDIA NGC. This seamless integration allows for easy scaling of projects from AI workstations to the cloud, enabling data scientists and AI creators to shift from development to production more efficiently.
To complete the work experience, HP introduced new monitors and peripherals. The HP Series 7 Pro Monitors, designed for creators and modern leaders, feature an integrated AI privacy webcam for life-like virtual collaboration. The HP 965 Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard offers a split-zone layout and programmable keys, while the HP 685 Comfort Dual-Mode Keyboard and Mouse provide user comfort without the learning curve of true ergonomic products. Other peripherals and accessories, such as the HP 435 Programmable Wireless Keypad and HP USB-C Travel Hub G3, enhance flexibility and connectivity.
The pricing and availability of the new HP devices vary, with some expected to be available in April and others later in the year. Overall, HP’s extensive portfolio of AI PCs, workstations, security solutions, and peripherals aims to empower employees in the hybrid work landscape, providing them with the tools they need to thrive.
