Patch 2.11 for Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty is now live, bringing a slew of fixes and improvements to the game on PC, Playstation 5, and XBOX Series X|S. This update addresses some of the most common issues reported by players, with a focus on enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
One of the notable changes in this patch is the addition of a Hybrid CPU Utilization setting for PC players. Located under the Gameplay → Performance menu, this setting allows players to choose between “Auto” and “Prioritize P-Cores” options. The “Auto” setting lets the operating system decide how to distribute threads among the CPU cores, while “Prioritize P-Cores” prioritizes performance cores. By default, the setting is set to “Auto,” providing players with flexibility in optimizing their gameplay performance.
In terms of visual improvements, Patch 2.11 introduces neon-lit rims for the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X, ensuring that these parts light up properly. Additionally, shadows appearing on V’s torso when wearing tank tops and dark shadows on V’s hands when holding weapons with Ray Tracing enabled have been fixed. The end-game reward screen now properly displays the Devil and Judgment tarot cards.
The update also addresses various gameplay issues. Melee Finishers should now work as intended, and health items will no longer become unequipped from the quick access slot after using consumables. Players with AZERTY keyboards can now properly switch Z and W keybinds. The Classic control scheme no longer causes crouching during dashes. Interacting with objects will no longer require using the F key, even if it’s bound to a different key. These fixes aim to enhance the overall gameplay flow and provide a smoother experience for players.
Furthermore, Patch 2.11 includes specific fixes for cyberware and quickhacks. The Axolotl cyberware will now reduce cooldown when neutralizing an enemy non-lethally, and the Iconic Contagion quickhack will properly cause an explosion when combined with the Overheat quickhack. Various other issues related to cyberware, quickhacks, and skills have also been addressed to ensure a more balanced and enjoyable gameplay experience.
In the open world, car chases have been adjusted to be less frequent and avoid overlapping. Vehicles purchased on the Autofixer website will now be added to the owned vehicles list as intended. Players who missed the crashed AV in Rancho Coronado can now obtain the BFC 9000 Iconic weapon. Several quest-related issues, such as NPCs not appearing or objectives not triggering, have been resolved to ensure a smoother progression through the game’s story.
Additionally, Patch 2.11 brings improvements to the user interface (UI) and vehicle mechanics. Players can now customize Radioport behavior in the Settings → Gameplay menu, enabling features like “Sync to Vehicle Radio” and “Cycle Stations with Button Press” for a seamless radio experience. The data window during scanning will now remember the last tab opened, and cyberware changes at Ripperdocs will now correctly display the Cyberware Capacity bar.
Visual enhancements have also been made to tire track marks, suspension movements, and vehicle handling. Motorcycle suspension has been improved to reduce clipping into roads and curbs, while braking is also enhanced. Brake Torque Vectoring has been implemented to reduce understeer during hard braking while turning, providing a more realistic driving experience. Various vehicles have received tuning adjustments and polish to improve drifting and overall performance.
Lastly, modders will be pleased to know that the REDmod address list has been updated, allowing for more flexibility in modding the game.
