MAINGEAR introduces their patented MG-RC technology at CES, aiming to revolutionize desktop PC design and performance, and introduces their exclusive MAINGEAR ZERO drop and a preview of their future desktop gaming PC, the MAINGEAR NV9: Zero Concept.
- Revolutionary MG-RC technology improves cooling and simplifies cable management
- Collaboration with MSI results in a limited-edition, high-performance gaming rig
- Future concept PC with in-case LCD display showcases MAINGEAR's commitment to innovation
Maingear, the manufacturer of high-performance gaming PCs, made a announcement at CES today. They introduced their patented MAINGEAR Rear Connection (MG-RC) technology, which is set to revolutionize desktop PC design and performance. This innovative technology changes the way cables are routed and connected within a gaming PC by moving them to the rear/underside of the motherboard. The result is a cable-free appearance on the inside of the PC case, along with several other benefits such as improved cooling, simplified cable management, and enhanced aesthetics.
MAINGEAR is not only focused on their own advancements but also on driving industry-wide adoption of MG-RC. They are working towards standardizing this technology among PC case and motherboard manufacturers, aiming to benefit OEMs, system builders, and consumers alike.
Wallace Santos, CEO of MAINGEAR, expressed his excitement about this milestone moment for the company at CES 2024. He stated, “MG-RC represents MAINGEAR’s relentless pursuit of innovation in the PC gaming space, and embodies our mission to create the ultimate gaming experience through superior products and exceptional service.”
In collaboration with MSI, MAINGEAR launched their exclusive MAINGEAR ZERO drop, a limited-edition gaming rig that sets a new standard in both performance and visual appeal. Powered by the MSI B760M Project Zero motherboard and featuring the sleek MSI MAG Pano M1000 PZ White chassis, this compact mini-ATX setup is a pure gaming beast. The secret behind its exceptional performance and aesthetics lies in the magic of MG-RC, which eliminates any visible motherboard cables. The ZERO comes with panoramic glass panels to showcase its powerful components, including the newly announced nVidia Geforce RTX 4070 Ti Super. With synchronized RGB lighting throughout the case, fans, and components, gamers can enjoy a fully customizable aesthetic experience.
The ZERO will be available for purchase on January 24, 2024, at maingear.com/drops. However, supplies are limited, and previous drops have sold out in under two weeks, so interested buyers should act fast.
But that’s not all MAINGEAR has in store. They also launched a preview of their future desktop gaming PC, the MAINGEAR NV9: Zero Concept, housed in the stylish Phanteks NV9 chassis. Adapted with MG-RC compatibility to support the MSI Z790 Project Zero motherboard, this concept PC takes performance to new heights. It boasts premium components, including an MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super 16 GB Ventus 3X OC graphics card, Intel Core i9-14900k processor, and a massive 420mm Phanteks Glacier One AiO liquid cooler. However, what truly sets this concept apart is its integration of an in-case high-definition LCD display that can be fully customized to the user’s preference.
The NV9 Zero Concept will be joining MAINGEAR’s lineup of custom gaming PCs at maingear.com in Q1 2024. More details about this exciting concept will be announced closer to its launch.
As with all MAINGEAR gaming PCs, every component is carefully selected and thoroughly tested for maximum compatibility, reliability, and performance. Each PC is hand-built by MAINGEAR builders in Warren, New Jersey, and undergoes rigorous testing and quality assurance checks to ensure excellence. MAINGEAR stands behind their products with a standard one-year warranty (which can be upgraded to three years) and lifetime access to their award-winning technical support.
