Intel and DigitalBridge have teamed up to create Articul8 AI, Inc., a company that offers a secure and flexible GenAI software platform for enterprise customers, with Intel's Arun Subramaniyan as CEO and support from various investors including BCG.
- Comprehensive GenAI software platform
- Flexible deployment options
- Collaboration with established venture investors
Intel Corp and DigitalBridge Group, Inc. have joined forces to create Articul8 AI, Inc. (Articul8), a new company that offers enterprise customers a comprehensive generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) software platform. This platform is designed to provide AI capabilities while ensuring that customer data remains secure within the enterprise security perimeter. Articul8 allows customers the flexibility to choose between cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployment options.
Articul8 leverages the intellectual property and technology developed at Intel, and the two companies will continue to collaborate on driving GenAI adoption in the enterprise. Arun Subramaniyan, formerly vice president and general manager in Intel’s Data Center and AI Group, will lead Articul8 as its CEO. Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger expressed excitement about the collaboration and the potential for tangible business outcomes.
DigitalBridge Ventures, the venture initiative of DigitalBridge, served as the lead investor for Articul8. Additionally, Intel and a syndicate of established venture investors, including Fin Capital, Mindset Ventures, Communitas Capital, GiantLeap Capital, GS Futures, and Zain Group, have taken an equity stake in the company.
According to DigitalBridge CEO Marc Ganzi, integrating GenAI capabilities into workflows is a challenge for global enterprises. He highlighted Articul8’s scalable and easy-to-deploy GenAI software platform as a solution that unlocks value from proprietary data. Ganzi sees GenAI as a driving force in digital infrastructure and looks forward to collaborating with Intel to support Articul8’s growth.
Articul8 offers a turnkey GenAI software platform that prioritizes speed, security, and cost-efficiency for large enterprise customers looking to operationalize and scale AI. The platform was optimized on Intel hardware architectures, including Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Intel Gaudi accelerators, but it also supports various hybrid infrastructure alternatives. The platform has already been deployed at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and scaled for enterprise customers in industries such as financial services, aerospace, semiconductors, and telecommunications.
Rich Lesser, global chair of BCG, emphasized the importance of GenAI in their clients’ business strategy and needs. The collaboration between BCG and Articul8 began during the incubation stage at Intel, and since then, Articul8’s products have been successfully deployed for multiple clients seeking production-ready platforms with a quick time to market.
As an independent company with industry investment, Articul8 is well-positioned to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and expand its product products within the GenAI ecosystem.
