EIZO Corporation, a leading technology company, has launched its latest innovation, the DuraVision PT-LAN51. This device is EIZO’s first remote controlled pan and tilt head designed for mounting video cameras and other devices.
The DuraVision PT-LAN51 is specifically designed for indoor use in industrial applications. EIZO’s commitment to quality is evident in the fact that the head is designed and manufactured entirely in-house at their own factory in Japan. This ensures the highest durability of moving parts and reliability for precise operation.
With the PT-LAN51, users can automate the monitoring of factory lines and other areas, enhancing operational efficiency, quality control, and security. The head supports attachment to a wide range of devices weighing up to 1.5 kg, including video cameras, FA cameras, infrared cameras, SLR cameras, floodlights, laser measuring instruments, directional antennas, and more.
One of the standout features of the PT-LAN51 is its remote control capabilities. Users can effortlessly control the pan and tilt movement of the device with a maximum range of ±170° and ±174° respectively. The use of a stepper motor ensures high-precision and discrete movement. To prevent interference with mounted equipment, movement can be locked at a specific angle. Additionally, for ceiling-mounted installations like surveillance cameras, the direction of the pan and tilt rotation can be set to reverse.
The PT-LAN51 also offers a range of additional features to enhance its functionality. It supports external control via LAN or RS-232C, allowing for seamless integration into existing systems. The device also supports PoE+ power supply, reducing cable clutter and simplifying installation. Its compact and lightweight design, along with the VESA mounting interface, ensures easy installation in any environment. Furthermore, it supplies up to DC12V/1A power to mounted devices, eliminating the need for additional power sources.
For users looking for even more control, the PT-LAN51 provides a command list for external control via end-user software. It also comes with an IR remote control for added convenience.
EIZO stands behind the quality of its products, offering a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty for the PT-LAN51.
The DuraVision PT-LAN51 will be available for shipping starting in February 2024. Availability may vary by country or region, so interested customers are advised to contact their nearest EIZO group company or distributor for more information.
