Sega Europe, Limited and The Creative Assembly Limited have teamed up to bring gamers an exciting new addition to the Total War franchise. Total War: PHARAOH takes players back to the Egyptian New Kingdom period, immersing them in the turbulent events of the Bronze-Age Collapse. This strategy game combines turn-based civilization management with real-time strategy battles, allowing players to rule an iconic Bronze-Age civilization and rewrite history in their own vision.
In Total War: PHARAOH, players will have the opportunity to manage their empire in matters of diplomacy, economy, and military strength. But it doesn’t stop there – they will also command legions of soldiers and war machines in intense tactical conquests across a vibrant recreation of this tumultuous age.
One of the standout features of Total War: PHARAOH is its authentic recreation of Ancient Egypt. From the fertile banks of the river Nile to the arid deserts of the Sinai Peninsula and the mountainous crags of ancient Anatolia, this game brings the beauty and brutality of Egypt’s most defining era to life.
Players can choose from three unique Bronze-Age cultures – Egyptians, Hittites, and Canaanites – each with their own historical leaders. Whether you prefer to charm your way through diplomacy, charge into battle as a fearless commander, or cause chaos as a warlord, there’s a playstyle to suit everyone.
The campaign map in Total War: PHARAOH spans the cultural hubs of Egypt, Canaan, and Anatolia, providing players with endless opportunities for expansion and conquest. And with the new Campaign Customization feature, no two campaigns will ever feel the same. Players can tweak various options, such as random starting positions for factions and detailed resource settings, to create a truly unique gameplay experience.
But it’s not just about conquering territories and managing resources – players must also navigate dynamic weather conditions on the battlefield. Sudden thunderstorms and sandstorms can dramatically shift the tides of battle, directly impacting the surrounding terrain.
To add an extra layer of immersion, players can pledge their allegiance to one of nineteen deities spread across the cultural pantheons. Show enough reverence to earn gameplay bonuses, but beware of disrespecting the gods.
Total War: PHARAOH also caters to newcomers with its user-friendly tutorial system. Whether you’re a brand-new player or just need a refresher, this system will guide you through the mechanics of the game and provide a narrative experience that leads into the main campaign.
As an early adopter bonus, players who purchase Total War: PHARAOH within the first week of its release will receive the Avatar of the Gods Cosmetic Pack and the Heart of the Shardana Cosmetic Pack. These packs add even more customization options to enhance your gaming experience.
