- Simplifies the complex task of live streaming, empowering creators to focus on producing amazing content
Logitech G, the gaming technology brand of Logitech, has launched a new plugin for its Loupedeck console that provides Streamlabs creators with enhanced control over their live streams. The Streamlabs Desktop Plugin allows users to access Streamlabs Desktop software directly through their Loupedeck devices, offering a seamless and efficient experience for content creators. With fine-tuned dials and customizable buttons, users can precisely control Streamlabs audio and create their own macro actions, such as posting chat greetings or switching scenes. This plugin aims to simplify the complex task of live streaming, empowering creators to focus on producing amazing content.
Vincent Borel, Head of PC Gaming and Creator Products at Logitech G, highlighted the challenges faced by live streamers who have to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Streamlabs Desktop Plugin aims to address these challenges by providing complete external control over all elements of a livestream. Additionally, Loupedeck’s dynamic mode allows users to switch between programs seamlessly, with custom pre-set controls readily available.
The plugin offers several features that enhance the livestreaming experience. Users can easily set up Scenes, Sources, Audio Sources, and Scene Collections directly from their Loupedeck devices. They can also activate Streamlabs Desktop commands and view the status of their livestream on the device itself. The precise dials on Loupedeck enable real-time fine-tuning of livestream audio control.
For newer live streamers with simpler setups and limited monitors, the Streamlabs plugin proves to be particularly useful. It allows them to access Scenes, Sources, and Scene Collections directly from their Loupedeck devices, freeing up their monitor for gameplay and chat views.
The Streamlabs Desktop Plugin comes pre-installed on all new Loupedeck devices with Software Update 5.8. It joins a range of streaming integrations for platforms such as Twitch, OBS, VoiceMeeter, GoXLR, and vMix. Those attending TwitchCon will have the opportunity to test out the new plugin at the Logitech booth.
To further enhance users’ creative and streaming capabilities, Loupedeck has also introduced the Loupedeck Marketplace. The marketplace features plugins for various applications, including Microsoft Teams, WinAudio, Bitfocus Companion, Microsoft PowerToys, MuteDeck for Zoom, Libre Hardware Monitor, and a Loupedeck AI Assistant. These plugins aim to expand the possibilities for content creators and streamers alike.
