  • Mirrors last year's discounts on Ryzen 7000 processors
  • Outshines Intel's latest flagship Core i9-14900K at both 1080p and 1440p resolutions

AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D, known for its exceptional gaming performance, is receiving a substantial price drop in honor of China’s annual “11.11” shopping festival. Originally priced at 3299 RMB ($449 in the US) when it was launched in April, the CPU is now available for 2599 RMB (or 2529 RMB with all retail-specific discounts factored in). This reduction is part of the highly anticipated shopping festival, where e-commerce platforms in China offer significant discounts on various products, including PC hardware.

Although the festival hasn’t officially started yet, the promotion for the 7800X3D will kick off later today, giving Chinese gamers ample time to take advantage of the reduced cost. This promotion holds great significance, as it mirrors last year’s discounts on Ryzen 7000 processors, which eventually led to more affordable prices for AMD AM5 CPUs.

The 11.11 festival, organized by the official AMD store, provides a glimpse into what gamers can expect in other regions during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which are just a month away. Currently priced at $369, with a previous price of $349 in October, it is reasonable to anticipate even greater discounts next month.

In terms of performance, the 7800X3D outshines Intel’s latest flagship Core i9-14900k at both 1080p and 1440p resolutions, while consuming significantly less power. This makes it an excellent choice for budget-conscious gamers who seek top-notch gaming experiences without breaking the bank.
