The non-PRO models will come in gray and orange boxes, while the PRO variants will feature gray and silver packaging.

These renders confirm that the Threadripper 7000 series will utilize the sTR5 socket and incorporate 8 to 12 chiplets with the Zen4 architecture. All CPUs in this series will share the same packaging and support the sTR5 socket, as evident in the newly released images. The Threadripper 7000 processors will feature either 8 or 12 Zen4 CCDs, marking a significant advancement for AMD.

AMD faces competition from Intel, which recently launched the Sapphire Rapids Xeon W-2400 and W-3400 series.
