Acer has launched its latest additions to the Chromebook lineup with the launch of the Acer Chromebook Plus 515 and Acer Chromebook Plus 514. These new Laptops are part of Google’s Chromebook Plus initiative, which aims to enhance the performance and design of Chromebooks while offering new features for productivity, creativity, and multimedia capabilities.
The Acer Chromebook Plus 515 and Acer Chromebook Plus 514 are equipped with powerful processors, high-resolution displays, and crystal-clear cameras. James Lin, General Manager of Notebooks at Acer Inc., highlighted the importance of these features in catering to customers’ dynamic lifestyles.
The new Acer Chromebook Plus laptops are designed to empower users with advanced capabilities for productivity and creativity. With Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Express, users can easily edit photos and create standout graphics. Acer Chromebook Plus users will also have access to Photoshop on the web and a three-month Adobe Express Premium plan at no additional cost. These tools, combined with Firefly-powered generative AI features, provide users with everything they need to unleash their creativity.
In addition to photo and video editing capabilities, the Acer Chromebook Plus laptops offer ample memory and storage options. With up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of SSD storage, users can easily handle demanding tasks and store their files without worry. The laptops also feature fast and reliable Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, as well as a range of ports for charging, data transfer, and display extension.
The Acer Chromebook Plus laptops excel in conferencing capabilities as well. The 1080p webcams with Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) and Blue Glass lens ensure clear and high-quality video calls. AI-powered tools enhance clarity, lighting, and audio, while a physical webcam shutter provides privacy during meetings. Dual upward-firing speakers with DTS Audio deliver excellent sound quality.
