DRY STUDIO, a startup consumer technology brand, is stirring up the industry with its debut product, the Black Diamond 75. This mechanical gaming keyboard is set to revolutionize the market with its unique features and affordable price point. With a design inspired by the sleek Lamborghini Aventador “Black Diamond,” the Black Diamond 75 combines esports capability with a superior typing experience.

The Black Diamond 75 is available in two bundles: the Base Bundle priced at $240 and the Advance Bundle priced at $295. Early adopters can take advantage of a 15% discount during the first 48 hours of the Indiegogo campaign.

The design philosophy behind the Black Diamond 75 focuses on creating a keyboard with a fierce and separateive shape. Drawing inspiration from the modified all-carbon Lamborghini Aventador – the MANSORY Carbonado – also known as the “Black Diamond,” this keyboard features real carbon fiber or anodized silver aluminum, along with hand-polished PMMA acrylic for durability and stunning aesthetics. The built-in wrist rest and 7-degree typing angle ensure maximum comfort for users.

Positioning itself as an esports-level mechanical gaming keyboard, the Black Diamond 75 prioritizes low Latency. With its tri-mode wireless connectivity, users can enjoy an ultra-low end-to-end latency of less than 2 ms when connected through 2.4G, Bluetooth 5.1, or USB Type-C wired connections. The keyboard boasts a 2000 Hz scan rate and 1000 Hz Polling Rate under 2.4G. Thanks to its large 5000 mAh battery, the Black Diamond 75 offers an impressive 60 days of battery life in 2.4G mode with 8 hours of daily use and RGB disabled. The Advance variant even supports wireless charging for a true wireless experience.

One standout feature of the Black Diamond 75 is its leaf spring mount, a world-first for gaming keyboards. This innovative design adds a comfortable amount of flex to the typing experience, enhancing performance and comfort. Angry Miao provides stainless steel leaf springs with the Carbon colorway for maximum esports performance and phosphorus copper leaf springs with the Mithril colorway for daily use.

Extensive research and development have resulted in several additional features that elevate the Black Diamond 75’s sound quality and typing experience. These include a 1.6 mm hotswap PCB, FR4 plate, IXPE switch pad, Poron foam, and a thickened honeycomb silicone pad.

Customizability is a key aspect of the Black Diamond 75. Users have the freedom to replace switches, stabilizers, and keycaps to suit their preferences. The keyboard comes with double-shot PBT keycaps that are comfortable to the touch and DR Rapid Ice (Carbon) or KTT Wine Red (Mithril) switches that match each colorway’s respective use case. The advanced RGB lighting system powered by Angry Miao allows for further customization, with 81 configurable in-switch LEDs and four additional programmable RGB LEDs in the shape of dual supercar headlights. Users can easily customize the RGB effects through AM Master on Windows and macOS.

The Black Diamond 75 Carbon Bundle introduces the world to the custom esports switches co-developed by DRY STUDIO and Gateron – the DR Rapid Ice switches. These switches offer ultra-fast response, high precision, and minimum vibration with a 1.0 mm actuation travel. They have a lifespan of over 80 million actuations and come factory-lubed for maximum consistency. The Mithril Bundle includes KTT Wine Red switches, striking a balance between gaming and daily use. Users also have the option to replace Mithril’s switches with DR Rapid Ice switches if desired.
