Intel’s 14th Gen Core “Raptor Lake Refresh” desktop lineup set to unveil 25 SKUs

Intel is gearing up to reveal its latest desktop processor lineup, known as the 14th Gen Core or Raptor Lake Refresh series. According to the leaked information, Intel’s 14th Gen Core series could include a whopping 27 models. These models are categorized into different series, including KS-Series, K-Series, KF-Series, non-K Series, F-Series, and T-Series. Each series has its own unique specifications and features.

The lineup is expected to offer processors ranging from 2 to 24 cores. It starts with the Intel 300 CPU, which features a dual-core configuration and a 46W TDP but lacks boost capability. Moving up the ladder, the Core i3 series offers quad-core configurations, with some SKUs reportedly lacking boost support.

For gamers, the Core i5 tier will provide configurations with either 6P+4E or 6P+8E. The leaker suggests that different configurations are being tested, such as the Core i5-14400, which could have either 10 or 14 core specifications. All of these models will support both DDR4 and DDR5 memory. However, it is expected that DDR5 memory will be the primary focus for motherboard manufacturers and prebuilt system integrators, as DDR4 options will likely be reserved for the previous generations of CPUs.
