EK, the manufacturer of high-end liquid-cooling equipment, is expanding its EK-Quantum Surface radiator lineup with the introduction of two new Black Editions designed for the Slim series. These radiators have already made a name for themselves in the industry, receiving widespread acclaim and recognition from reputable review-based websites. The new Black Edition EK-Quantum Surface S radiators are available in two sizes: 240 mm and 360 mm. With a slim profile of only 30 mm, these radiators are perfect for cases with limited space. Despite their reduced thickness, they deliver exceptional performance, particularly at low and medium fan speeds. The Black Edition Surface radiators feature dual G1/4″ threaded connection ports and 16 copper tubes that span the entire length of the radiator, ensuring optimal coolant flow without adding stress to your cooling loop. The high-quality non-louvered copper fins with a density of 20 FPI strike a perfect balance between thermal transfer and air resistance, resulting in optimal performance even at low fan speeds.

It’s worth noting that a Push/Pull configuration is not recommended for the S Series EK-Quantum Surface radiators, as it does not provide a proportional increase in performance. If additional cooling capability is required, it is advised to incorporate additional radiators into the setup. Like other products in the Quantum Line, EK’s Surface radiators bring several improvements, including enhanced thermal performance, reduced coolant flow restriction, and improved airflow restriction.

The sleek all-black design of the radiator, including the frame, end caps, port adapters, fins, and screws, makes it an excellent choice for those seeking a refined and minimalist aesthetic without compromising on performance. In line with EK’s commitment to providing a seamless liquid-cooling experience, the EK-Quantum Surface radiators are EK-Matrix7 compatible. This compatibility allows for easy integration with Reflection², the second generation of Quantum distro plates, enabling users to effortlessly swap and upgrade between S, P, and X series Surface radiators within the same case (provided the case supports thicker radiators in the same position).
