- Compact 3-slot height cooling system with five fans
- Detachable USB-powered screen with customizable LEDS
- Factory-overclocked edition with a boost clock of 2580 MHz
MaxSun, a Chinese company known for its unique product names like “Terminator” and “McDonald’s,” has recently launched the RTX 4090 as part of its Mega Gamer (MGG) series. This new graphics card features a separateive design and an impressive cooling system.
One of the standout features of the RTX 4090 is its compact 3-slot height cooling system, which incorporates a total of five fans. Two smaller fans, known as “Air Boost,” are discreetly placed on the side to draw heat away, while larger 10cm and 11cm fans efficiently direct air onto a large cooler. The cooling solution is shared with the previously released RTX 4080, boasting 7000 mm² of heat dissipation surface area and a comprehensive cover vapor chamber.
Another interesting feature of the RTX 4090 is its detachable USB-powered screen. This screen is made up of LEDs that users can customize, allowing for personalized text or graphics to be displayed, adding to the card’s unique design.
The RTX 4090 MGG comes as a factory-overclocked edition with a boost clock of 2580 MHz, representing a 2.4% overclock from its base specifications. The card has a TDP rating of 450W, and there is no mention of any alterations to the power limits.
While MaxSun GPUs are primarily available in the Chinese domestic market, they can also be found on global e-commerce platforms like Aliexpress. However, it seems that the official store has yet to update its inventory with the RTX 40 series models, indicating that the RTX 4090 MGG may remain an exclusive offering in China.
Overall, MaxSun’s RTX 4090 Mega Gamer offers an intriguing design with its unique cooling system and customizable LED screen. It will be interesting to see if this graphics card gains popularity beyond the Chinese market.
