- 5” ultra-slim IPS display with 720 x 1280 resolution
- Revolutionary cooling system with Dual Harmonic Pumps, a substantial 52mm-Thick Heat Exchanger, and a pair of 32mm-Thick FT12 fans
- FT12 fans offer a versatile speed range, spanning from 500 to 2,000 RPMs, with the ability to go completely silent when necessary
HYTE, the lifestyle brand under iBUYPOWER, has just taken a bold leap into the world of Liquid Cooling with its latest creation: the THICC Q60. Featuring a revolutionary 5” ultra-slim IPS display and a powerful cooling system, the Q60 is poised to set new standards in the industry.
At the heart of the Q60, you’ll find a striking 5” ultra-slim IPS display boasting an impressive 720 x 1280 resolution. This display is not just for show; it’s a canvas for customization. Concealed beneath the sleek surface lies a 42-pixel qRGB array, diffusing ambient light with a subtle, frosty glow. Users can tailor both the LCD screen and the qRGB array to their liking using HYTE’s intuitive Nexus software, adding a personal touch to their setup.
Rob Teller, Product Director of HYTE, remarked, “In the relentless race among processor manufacturers to stay at the forefront, we’re witnessing increasingly higher TDPs and the pursuit of performance limits. The current crop of Coolers on the market simply can’t keep up. They’re falling short, preventing those promised clock speeds from becoming a reality. The THICC Q60 changes the game by unlocking your processor’s true potential, delivering performance levels previously considered unattainable. Featuring a formidable trio of Dual Harmonic Pumps, a substantial 52mm-Thick Heat Exchanger, and a pair of 32mm-Thick FT12 fans, this cooler achieves an unrivaled cooling density that’s both potent and impressively quiet. This isn’t just an upgrade to your computing performance; it’s a complete redefinition of your digital experience.”
Standing out as one of the thickest AIO liquid coolers on the market, the Q60’s massive heat exchanger measuring 120 x 288 x 52 mm is designed for optimal performance-to-noise ratio. Nestled within this heat exchanger, dual harmonic pumps provide ample power to ensure the coolant circulates efficiently, maintaining peak system performance.
The simplicity of a single power cable connected to the heat exchanger streamlines the entire unit and eliminates cable clutter. The Q60 comes paired with two brand-new 120 x 120 x 32 mm THICC FT12 fans, designed for seamless daisy-chaining. These fans are equipped with liquid crystal polymer (LCP) blades, enhancing rigidity for improved performance. Within each FT12 fan’s body resides a thermal sensor that monitors air temperature and fan orientation, relaying crucial data back to the Nexus control center.
The FT12 fans offer a versatile speed range, spanning from 500 to 2,000 RPMs, with the ability to go completely silent when necessary, thanks to the zero RPM capability. HYTE’s FT12 Fans are available in convenient packs of three and come with a Nexus Link Type-M to Nexus Link Type-C cable for compatibility with various Nexus-controlled devices, including the NP50 Nexus Portal and PQ10 and PQ30 qRGB Light Strips. Additionally, a PWM to Nexus Link Type-M cable is included for seamless integration with motherboard fan control.

Technology Explained
IPS display: IPS (In-Plane Switching) displays are a type of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) technology that offer superior image quality and wider viewing angles than traditional LCDs. IPS displays are used in a variety of computer applications, including laptops, tablets, and desktop monitors. They offer superior color accuracy and wider viewing angles than traditional LCDs, making them ideal for applications that require accurate color reproduction and wide viewing angles. Additionally, IPS displays are more energy efficient than traditional LCDs, making them a great choice for applications that require long battery life. IPS displays are also more durable than traditional LCDs, making them a great choice for applications that require a long lifespan.

Liquid Cooling: Liquid cooling is a technology used to cool down computer components, such as processors, graphics cards, and other components that generate a lot of heat. It works by circulating a liquid coolant, such as water or a special coolant, through a series of pipes and radiators. The liquid absorbs the heat from the components and then dissipates it into the air. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the computer industry due to its ability to provide more efficient cooling than traditional air cooling methods. Liquid cooling can also be used to overclock components, allowing them to run at higher speeds than their rated speeds. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the gaming industry, as it allows gamers to get the most out of their hardware.

PWM: Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) is a type of technology used in the computer industry that allows for control over pulse and frequency. It works by modulating an output signal’s pulse width or duty cycle to vary the on and off times of the signal. This technology can be used to control and regulate different DC motor, lighting, and other devices. In the computer industry, PWM is often used to control the speed of CPU and GPU fan speeds for improved cooling. It is also used to control backlighting levels on devices such as keyboards or monitors. PWM is versatile, cost-effective, and efficient; as such, it is an important technology in the computer industry.
